Shandong Rehabilitation Research Center (Shandong Rehabilitation Hospital, Shandong Assistive Devices and Technology Center for Persons with Disabilities) is a Public Welfare Institution (Second Category) directly under the Shandong Disabled Persons’ Federation, approved by Commission Office of Public Sectors Reform of the CPC Shandong Province Committee. The Engineering Rehabilitation Department under the center is a comprehensive department integrating the adaptation of prostheses, orthotics, wheelchairs, walking aids, visual aids, hearing aids, home environments and other assistive devices. It currently has 22 professionals, including rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation therapists, prosthetists, orthotists, and assistive technology engineers, and provides services such as technical consultations, policy promotion, assistive device exhibitions, assessment and adaptation, usage guidance, and adaptability modification.
